In honor of this year’s Pantone color Marsala I made this mood board with the wine-like color of the year. You can use Marsala all year long and it won’t go out of style, I love it’s scheme, from deep purples to a reddish wine. The first thing that pops out of my mind when thinking about February is Valentine’s Day and cold weather! I am not sticking to Valentine’s traditional red but making a change this year and instead use Marsala.
February for me is going to be a month of change, looking forward to share with you my new plans, new blog collaboration, new gourmet products on the making, I think it’s the right time for a change!

I am starting a new series, Art love, here I will post my favourite artists, pieces that complement an interior. It’s amazing how an artist can create a scene with some paint and a brush, art works compliment interiors in such a way that they can become an important thing for a room. Sometimes we can’t wait to show our guests that one piece of art that we most cherish. Lately I’ve been seeing landscapes placed in living rooms, halls, bedrooms, with their mutted colors they can bring a relaxed mood to the room. I like them when they are oil paintings resembling those french landscapes with hunters or girls sitting on a bed of poppies ready to have a picnic. So with this I start the Art love series, what do you think about it?

It’s been a while since I don’t make a “Del closet a la casa” post so here it is. Say au revoir to leopard print and welcome deer print, this bambi trend may be a new way of looking animal prints, both in interiors and fashion. I recommend to find a faux fur or a good imitation you can adapt to your home or wardrobe, use it to spice things up.
