Esta era la vista de nuestro cuarto, daba directo a playa Manzanillas donde estaba leyendo y empecé a ver el atardecer, decidí llevar mi kit de Margaritas, guacamole, salsa y totopos a la playa.
This was the view from our room, it led directly to Manzanillas Beach where I was reading on a hammock and saw this beautiful sunset so I decided to grab our Margarita kit, some guacamole, salsa and chips and headed to the beach.

I am so happy to share my summer memories with you, Punta Mita is a special place for us, first of all because we got married here, second because it’s paradise! The food at the area is amazing, you have Puerto Vallarta 45 min away, San Pancho and Sayulita 30 min and because our favorite resort The Four Seasons Punta Mita makes us feel like home away from home, we have some really good memories here and wish to continue making more.
Just arrived to the hotel, pure happiness! Wearing a Zara white outfit with a Primark denim jacket, Panama hat and Tory Burch dulce de leche espadrilles.
Waiting at Ketsi restaurant while our room was ready, had the resort’s beer Cora and some Ceviche tostadas.
Victor had the whole trip planed; we wanted to do a different activity each day. The night we arrived we had reservation at Si Señor at the Anclote, (a day before our wedding we had dinner with friends and family here before a cocktail part at Tamai in Four Seasons), the atmosphere is casual with a mexican flair, I had a frozen coconut margarita (margaritas here are the best) we sat near the beach, had a peruvian ceviche, shrimp chile relleno and lobster, we opened up a champagne bottle and the staff sang happy birthday to Victor at 12:00, they brought us a delicious key lime pie.
The next day (Victor’s birthday) we chilled at Manzanilla beach just outside our room.
We had lunch there with a perfect view and bubbles.
Then we went to the lazy river, we had so much fun!
I love this shorts! got them at Etsy about a year and a half ago and just find out they have their own web site here
We were looking forward for dinner at Aramara at the Four Seasons to continue the celebration. Wearing my favourite Carolina Herrera dress, Tory Burch espadrilles, and Primark clutch.
For starters we had Catch Of The Day Sashimi Roll and the best part, my plate, Five Spiced Half Duck with orange coriander and Hoisin sauce, they served it with Curry Apple Slaw and warm flour tortillas. It was so delicious! one of the best ducks I’ve had, duck tacos, who knew?
Víctor and me enjoying our delicious dinner, after that a Cuban group played for us and brought a chocolate cake.
After dinner we sat at the bar to listen to the Cuban group, they played a song we really like and danced, we had a lovely night.

This is the second part of my Dallas Market Center Diary I’ll show you more decor trends and a bit of a southern taste!
Ro Sham Beaux has the most amazing lamps and chandeliers, they have a unique style plus this season they’re into pastels and a color that comes strong this year a light shade of Turquoise, I can see it everywhere!
This lamp comes in different colors, definitely one of my favorite lamp designs, so unique.
Ahoy Sailor! Sailor trend is back, with this comes the classic blue and white combination, this lobster dishes remind me of Sweden’s Crayfish Party, so cute!
More blue and white with a touch of gold at the IMAX stand.
I forgot the name of this brand, but it totally transported me to the Greek Islands.
This piece of furniture reminded me of the round stained glass windows in Florence, Italy. During Renaissance the Palazzos used this kind of round glass to replace only the small round broken pieces instead of replacing the entire glass window.
Gorgeous glass bottles!
This is a fun book collection, sorted out by color.
Now this is what I call a Winter Wonderland decor, whites and silvers with glass ornaments.
As I said, a light shade of turquoise is a huge trend for 2015 we can even see it on a Christmas tree.
I call this style Christmas Glam, you can’t go wrong with black and gold and some precious stones.
I’ve been after a Vagabond piece since my honeymoon in Aspen, we found this cute decor store near Ajax and I wanted to bring back home with me a nice little wooden bowl with a squirrel for nuts, now I find these amazing pieces at the Market Center, want them all!
This gem like soaps (yes I said soaps) are all over Pinterest, they really look like precious stones, they even have resin like soaps that smell like the real tree.
Let’s forget about trends and decor for a while, I want to talk about food! After our last day at the Market Center we headed out to Sissy’s Southern Kitchen on Henderson Av, with a nice yellow front door, we seated at their screened white porch.
The wooden interior and china hanging from the wall gives a cozy look.
My mom and I had for starters the Three Beet Salad and we shared Sissy’s famous Buttermilk soaked Fried Chicken with a cole slaw salad, a basket of homemade corn bread and biscuits with a delicious jalapeño jam. Not forgetting the vodka infused tea… delish!
Outside view of the porch, you can see my mom through the yellow door.
After lunch we had a walk on Henderson Av. and find this vintage store called Vintage Martini where you can find clothing, shoes, hats and accessories sorted out by date 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and sorted out by brands like Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton among others.
Hermès scarf collection heaven.
Having a look a the shoes! Hope you enjoyed my Dallas Market Center Part II now ready for my next trip!
